Scholarship

The YAA Scholarship is awarded annually to a student who is studying or intends to study at Askham Bryan College or Bishop Burton College.

The Scholarship is worth up to £1000

The Society aims to encourage innovation, ambition and an adventurous spirit.

Applicants are asked to send a written submission of not more than 500 words that explains their agricultural experience and demonstrates how they stand out from the crowd, and the qualities and talents they possess which makes them the best candidate for this award. (see from below)

Shortlisted candidates may be asked to attend an interview and award winners may be invited to return to speak to the society once they have graduated

Closing date for Applications are 31st October, 2024

The Scholarship will be awarded at the AGM which is in February 2025
