Scholarship

The YAA Scholarship is awarded annually to a student who is studying or intends to study at an Agricultural related qualification, who's home address is in Yorkshire.

The Scholarship is worth up to £1000

The Society aims to encourage innovation, ambition and an adventurous spirit.

Applicants are asked to send a written submission of not more than 500 words.

To apply please email your application giving a brief introduction to yourself, including your agricultural experience, choice and venue of qualification you are completing and please tell us about any other qualities, talents and achievements, that may make you stand out from the crowd.

Shortlisted candidates may be asked to attend an interview and award winners may be invited to return to speak to the society once they have graduated

Closing date for Applications are 31st October, 2025

The Scholarship will be awarded at the AGM which is in February 2026
