HOWARD PETCH CBE, OBE

 ‘The Future Isn’t What it Used To Be’

 

Some observations on our current circumstances, with a focus on the inter-connection of food, farming and the environment, including the tension between risk and opportunity in the realistic pursuit of hope in the future.

Howard comes from a North Yorkshire farming family, his career includes principal of Bishop Burton College, CEO of Landex, in 1997 awarded OBE for services to agricultural education.   Actively involved with Worship Co of Farmers, Rural Leadership Programme, with various roles in the charity sector.   In 2003 received the CBE for services to the farming community.  In the last 10 years, Howard has climbed Kilimanjaro and walked the Inca Trail raising money for charity.

Lunch is £26 per person, guests are welcome
