Innes Thomson - Chief Executive Association of Drainage Authorities

Innes Thomson BSc CEng FICE became chief executive in February 2016 after working for the Environment Agency for 10 years, latterly as Area Flood Risk Manager in Yorkshire and Trent areas.

Innes is responsible for managing the ADA team, ensuring a co-ordinated approach and liaising with members and external stakeholders at a senior level – everyone from journalists and government agencies to MPs.

Innes works very closely with ADA’s board and office-holders and has overall responsibility for management and business delivery at ADA.
